The EarthX Story

EarthX started long before the name existed. Back when a determined 14-year-old in Colorado Springs, inspired by his grandfather Sam, pushed a mower from yard to yard. Before Trevor could drive, he was hitching rides to build a small but thriving business, learning the value of hard work, reliability, and taking care of people’s outdoor spaces.

After graduating from Coronado High School and realizing traditional classrooms weren’t his path, Trevor followed the lessons the field had already taught him. The work grew from single lawns to large-scale landscapes, to neighborhoods, homeowner associations, and metro districts.

EarthX was founded to carry that scrappy, service-first spirit into something bigger. From those early days to now, we’ve grown into a team of about 120 people. Together, we’ve built more than 50 parks, completed hundreds of miles of reclamation and stormwater projects, and care for hundreds of properties through our maintenance division.

What hasn’t changed is why we do it. EarthX is rooted in Trevor’s core values: create sustainable landscapes, enhance communities, and shape the future of outdoor spaces. That’s our history, and the promise we bring to every project ahead.
